Description

This bridge, dated 1856, is located about 275 yards east-north-east of the Church of St Luke in Chetwynd Sambrook. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a rusticated single round arch with a key-block that bears the date. Above the arch is a stringcourse, and the bridge has a plain parapet with piers. It serves as a road bridge over a tributary of the River Meese.
