Description
The bridge over the River Churnet is a road bridge dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone, with rusticated detailing on the abutments. The bridge features a single elliptical arch supported by substantial voussoir blocks. There is a roll-moulded string at carriageway level, and the parapet has square coping. The abutments are splayed at their ends.
