It has a plain tile roof with gabled ends and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The windows are two-light casements with glazing bars. The central entrance has a panelled door set in a pilastered doorcase topped with a pediment. There is a later wide gable above the center that includes two casement windows. The cottage has brick end chimney stacks and a small modern one-storey wing to the left (north). It is positioned at right angles to the road.
