Description

Nos 27 to 31 on High Street are a group of buildings dating from 1845. They are primarily constructed of red brick, with No 27 featuring painted brick. The buildings are two storeys high and have four windows in total. No 27 has a renewed sash window without glazing bars, No 29 has a splayed oriel window, and No 31 has two original sash windows. The eaves are plain and the roofs are covered with slates. There is a moulded stone or stuccoed tablet at the first storey displaying the initials W T along with the date. The shop fronts are modern. These buildings are included for their group value.
