Description

These are a group of houses dating from the 19th century, with remnants of a 16th-century timber-framed structure. They are built of red brick with a black pantile roof.

No. 26 is a two-storey house with a single first-floor window. It features a 19th-century shopfront with pilasters and a 20th-century glazed door to the left. The first-floor window has glazing bars and a flat brick arch. A paired bracket eaves cornice runs along the top.

No. 28 is a two-storey, two-bay house. It has a door to the left with fluted pilasters, an architrave, and a flat hood. The sash windows are topped with rubbed brick flat arches. A paired bracket eaves cornice is also present.

No. 30 has a two-storey, projecting shopfront bay, which was partly rebuilt in the 20th century. The shopfront has fluted three-quarter columns supporting a triglyph frieze and cornice.
