Description

No. 2a, Lower Bar is a building dating from around 1910. It is a single-storey structure made of red brick, with the front painted. Originally an agricultural iron foundry, the front features two large horse-shoe shaped openings, with the right opening now glazed. There is a doorway on the left that has a part-glazed divided door. The building has coved plaster eaves and a continuous tiled pentice, which is topped by three small gables, each containing a circular window. This building is included for its group value.
