Early C18 house with early C19 stuccoed and painted brick front; 2 storeys plus attic; rusticated plaster quoins at sides of upper storey; one renewed wood mullioned casement window with transom; small modern office front to ground storey; old gabled dormer; plain eaves; tiles. Milestone affixed to right-hand side, being an early C19 painted cast iron plate embossed "To London 141 miles, To Chester 40 miles".
