Description

No 130 on High Street is an early 18th-century house that features an early 19th-century stuccoed and painted brick front. The building has two storeys plus an attic, with rusticated plaster quoins on the sides of the upper storey. It includes one renewed wood mullioned casement window with a transom and has a small modern office front on the ground storey. There is an old gabled dormer and plain eaves, with a tiled roof. On the right-hand side, there is a milestone that is an early 19th-century painted cast iron plate embossed with "To London 141 miles, To Chester 40 miles."
