Description

Wykeham House is an early 18th-century building located on Huntingdon Market Hill. It is two storeys tall with dormers and originally featured gault brick, stone, and stucco dressings, including rusticated quoins, a band between the storeys, and a modillioned eaves cornice. The building has five windows, with sash windows containing glazing bars. A large, square, plain porch was added in the mid-19th century, featuring a doorway with console brackets to the head. The roof is hipped, covered in old tiles, and includes three flat-topped dormers and brick stacks. The side elevation is of red brick. The front of the building was likely refaced in the early 19th century, although the original design appears to have been retained.
