Description

This is a pump and basin located approximately one metre north of Number 3 in Hinstock. It dates from the mid to late 19th century and is made of cast iron. The pump features a circular shaft with a splayed spout, a fluted top with a double-curved handle, and a fluted domed cap topped with a spike finial. The basin is circular and made of sandstone.
