Description

A barn, cowshed, and store building dating to the 17th century, with later 19th-century additions, situated to the south of Brook Farmhouse. The range is slightly curved and runs at a right angle to the farmhouse, enclosing the farmyard from the street. The barn section is timber-framed with weatherboarding, set upon a stone rubble plinth, and features a plain-tile roof, a twin-purlin roof structure, boarded doors, and loft openings. The cowshed has a timber frame on its east wall, stone rubble on its west wall and a corrugated metal roof. The agricultural shed is constructed of stone rubble with brick dressings and a corrugated metal roof. The interior was not inspected as part of the listing process.
