Description
The Ancient House is a 17th-century house located in Little Stretton. It is constructed from painted stone rubble, with some painted render to the rear, and has slate and plain-tiled roof sections. There are integral brick ridge stacks. The house has a two-bay arrangement parallel to the road, with the right-hand bay stepped down. The street front features a single two-light casement window at the first floor on the left, a front entrance door to the left at ground floor level, and a casement window to the right. The north gable end has two-light casements on each floor. A flat-roofed single-storey extension covers the rear at ground level. The interior has not been inspected.
