Description
Ragleth House is a house built around 1800, with 20th-century extensions. It features a red brick exterior, a coursed stone plinth, and a painted stone band, topped with a plain-tile roof and integral brick gable-end stacks. The building has a rectangular plan that runs parallel to the street.
The street-facing side is two stories high and has a three-window arrangement of wood casement windows, with mullions and transoms. The first floor has single-mullion windows, while the ground floor has two-mullion windows, all with cambered rubbed brick lintels. The central entrance door has panelled reveals and is framed by fluted pilasters, topped with a fanlight that has radial bars. Above the door, there is a fluted boxed entablature featuring diamond-shaped ornament and scrolled brackets. To the right, there is a 20th-century two-storey addition with a bay window. The interior has not been inspected.
