Outbuilding and byre to north-west of High Meadow Farmhouse

2 houses, now outbuilding and byre. C17 and C18 with C19 alterations. Coursed stone rubble and brick, plain-tile roof. Integral brick gable-end stack. Continuous range with 2-bay outbuilding to north with angled bay connecting to 2-bay byre to south. EXTERIOR: single-storey and attic. Outbuilding entrance front to west has boarded door in beaded doorframe with brick segmental arched lintel and with small casement to left. Rear: 2-light casement openings flanking boarded door offset to right, all in brick segmental arched openings. Tiled gabled dormer with 2-light casement opening. Byre gable-end to south: brick segmental arched opening. INTERIORS: outbuilding with chamfered bridging beam with run-out stops, brick bread oven, 2 king-post trusses with low-set collar and king-post with stepped foot, tie beam and double-tenoned purlin roof. Byre with chamfered bridging beam with ogee-chamfer stops, internal truss with door posts interrupting tie beam, single trenched purlin roof.
