Description
This outbuilding, located approximately 15 meters southeast of Oaks Hall, dates from the late 17th century and has undergone later alterations. It features a timber frame with red brick infill and cladding on a vitrified brick plinth, topped with a plain tile roof and a ridge stack on the left side. The structure has two levels, with framing consisting of two square panels from the raised cill to the wall-plate and short straight tension braces. The right gable is clad in brick, while the front has been rebuilt in brick (painted to imitate the original), although it still retains one central wall post. There are wide double doors at the center, with boarded doors, and late 19th-century windows on both the left and right sides, along with eaves hatches.
