Cottages. Mid C19. Stone rubble; plain tile roof; 4 brick ridge stacks with dentilled caps. 6-unit terrace plan. Single-storey and attic; 3 entrances: plank doors with lights under stone gabled porches; central porch flanked by two mullion and transom windows with cast-iron lattice casements and upper leaded horizontal casements; projecting bay of 2 units; flanking paired units each have one 3-light mullion and one 3-light mullion and transom window. All windows have simple wooden hoods and consoles. 9 gable dormers over with 2-light cast-iron lattice casements, under brick gables. Stone plaque over central porch: CLIVE COTTAGES Founded in memory of The Hon. RH Clive.
