Description

This is a row of four cottages built in the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed of claybat and plastered, with brick dressings. They have low-pitched slate roofs. The facade is symmetrical, featuring two crosswings with deep boarded eaves, and a central, projecting gabled section. Two gault brick ridge stacks rise from the roof, each with two diagonal shafts. The front of the cottages has three original boarded doors and a 20th-century door at No. 32. There are nine casement windows on the ground floor, and five smaller windows on the first floor, including a blind window in the central gable.
