Description

COUND C.P. GOLDING SJ 50 SW 6/94 Terrace retaining - wall approx. 15 metres to south of Golding GV II Terrace retaining wall. C17 with C18 and C19 additions. Red brick with red sandstone coping. L-plan; approximately 40 metres long and 5 metres high. Central flight of 16 stone steps with stone coped parapet; 4 probably C18 raking buttresses to left and later wide buttress to right. The wall forms part of a terraced garden to the south of Golding (q.v.).
