Description

These are two early 18th-century buildings located on Mill Street in Bridgnorth, forming part of a group with numbers 3 to 11. The buildings are primarily constructed of red brick, though earlier sections are of sandstone. They are three storeys high and feature six early 19th-century sash windows, set within broad frames and topped with painted segmental brick arches and moulded sills. Quoins are present, and a moulded stone cornice runs along the building at the second floor level. An early 19th-century moulded doorcase is also a notable feature. A coped parapet tops the building, while modern shop fronts occupy the left and right sides. Earlier sash windows are visible on the returned side of the building, facing St John’s Street.
