Description

The Foster Arms Public House is an 18th-century building located on Mill Street in Bridgnorth, specifically in the Low Town area. It is constructed of painted brick and stands three storeys tall. The façade features three segmental-headed sash windows, with keyblocks; the central windows are dummies. There are double-fronted bow windows that have cornices, and the entrance is highlighted by a moulded wood doorcase with side pilasters and a moulded wood cornice canopy above. The building is topped with a parapet. At the rear, there is an earlier part that has been refaced. The Foster Arms is part of a group that includes Nos 51 to 57, which are consecutive properties.
