Description

No 3 on St John's Street is an early 18th-century building constructed of red brick with earlier sandstone elements. It has two storeys and features five sash windows with original broad sashes. A stone band runs along the building, topped by a coped parapet. On the right-hand side, there are remains of blind arcading at the ground floor, along with a semi-circular headed window set in an arched recess. The left-hand side has a 19th-century shop front. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 5, which are consecutive.
