Description

No. 7 St John's Street is an early 18th-century building featuring painted stone and brick that covers an earlier timber frame. The structure is two storeys high and has two modern sash windows set in original broad frames. It is adorned with rusticated stone pilasters and a moulded stone cornice at the first floor. The entrance is located in a moulded square-headed recess, which is topped by a moulded wood canopy. The building has brick eaves and is finished with old tiles. No. 7 is part of a group that includes Nos. 7, 8, 10, 10A, 11, 15, and 16.
