No 16 on St John's Street is a late 18th-century building constructed of red brick. It stands three storeys high and features three sash windows on each storey, which are adorned with moulded keyblocks and lintels. The building has a moulded wooden doorcase positioned at the side and is topped with a coped parapet. It is part of a group that includes Nos 7, 8, 10, 10A, 11, 15, and 16.
