Description
The Pillar Fountain is a cast-iron structure believed to date from the late 19th century. It has a cylindrical shape and features a fluted column with a roll-moulded base and collar. At the top, there is a fluted domed cover, which is adorned with a bud finial and a handle mount on the right side. The front of the fountain displays a protruding lion mask spout. Below the spout, a small plaque is inscribed with "Glenfield // Kennedy Ltd. // Kilmarnock."
