Description

This drinking fountain, located against the north-west corner of the churchyard wall, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron by Glenfield and Kennedy of Kilmarnock. Standing approximately 1.2 metres high, the fountain features a fluted column with a roll-moulded base and collar, and a lion mask spout. It is topped with a fluted domed cover that has a bud finial and a handle mount on the right. The fountain is included for its group value.
