Description
Burton Hall Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the early 19th century. The front is made of ashlar stone, while the rear is constructed from rubble with limestone quoins and brick dressings. It has a pantiled roof with brick flues and stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, along with a rear outshut.
The central entrance features a four-moulded-panel door set in a porch with a gable that has barge boarding. The front facade has four-pane sash windows beneath segmental stone arches, with the window above the door being noticeably smaller than the others. The gables have copings and there are stacks at the ends. On the rear, there are side-sliding sashes in openings with segmental header arches. Additionally, there is a barge-boarded hood over the back door located between the second and third bays. The interior has not been inspected.
