Description

Stainley Hall Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the 19th century but incorporates materials from the 17th century. It is built from magnesian limestone and has a purple slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The first bay features a glazed door set in a plain surround, while throughout the house are two-light chamfered mullion windows, all of which have hoodmoulds. The gables have copings, and there is an end stack on the left and a ridge stack in the second bay. At the time of the last survey, the farmhouse was in the process of restoration.
