Description
The Kilmonick Hygiene Fountain, built around 1900, is a drinking fountain by Glenfield and Kennedy from Kilmarnock. It is made of granite and features a circular plinth with two round-headed niches and basins. The structure is supported by six Roman Doric columns that hold up an entablature and a domed roof topped with a finial. In the center of the columns, there are two carved open books that display biblical quotations.
