Description
No. 10 Church Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a cogged dentil course at the eaves, along with a stepped corbelled verge at the rear gable. The roof is slate, with plain tiles on the rear section. There is a central brick ridge stack and an integral eaves stack at the rear. The front range includes a cross wing gable at the rear.
The exterior is three stories high and has a two-window range with 8/8 sash windows set in openings that have painted stone lintels. On the ground floor to the right, there is a 20th-century multi-pane bow window. The central entrance has a plain heavy doorcase with a six-panelled door. To the left, there is a covered-way opening with a plain boarded door. At the rear, the house features a three-storey gable with a stepped verge and 20th-century casements that have concrete lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
