Row of 4 houses, now 2. Early C16. Timber-framed with some painted brick cladding and plain tiled roof. No.19 forms gabled cross range to south. Painted timber on brick cladding to side and gable wall, exposed square-panelled framing to rear. Segmental-arched heads to blocked lower openings (possibly door and window) now cut by inserted 3-light casement window. Inserted 2-light casement window above. Doorway in projecting porch in side elevation. Side wall stack. Nos 20-22 form a single range formerly of 3 units of unequal size. Framed in close studding with middle rails, central raking braces, and square panelling in lower outer sections. Doorway to left flanked by 2-light casement windows. 2 doorways towards the right with simple hoods carried on moulded brackets, flanked by 2-light casements, and with a 3-light window between them. Fixed-light window in centre of elevation. All lower windows are casements with transoms. Upper windows are casements in cases which are slightly corbelled out. Axial stacks. Internal roof structure with cambered tie beam, queen posts, and windbraces. No.19 listed 19.9.72.
