Description

Coton Hurst is a mid-19th century house built of brick with a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate. The building presents a four-window facade to the garden and a three-window facade to the entrance. A central door is set within a porch with a pediment supported by fluted Doric columns and an architrave. The garden front features 16-pane sash windows with flat-arched brick surrounds, whilst the entrance front has 12-pane sash windows. Central stacks are present. The house is an example of a complete mid-19th century villa built in the Late Georgian style.
