Description

SHEINTON CP SHEINWOOD SJ 60 SW 5/118 Former mill approx 180 m north of GV Sheinwood Farmhouse II

Mill, now disused. Late C18 with later alterations. Red brick, plain tile roof with small integral end stack to right. Three levels, stepped eaves cornice; scattered segmental-headed openings to ground floor and first floor with position of former wheel to left. Interior: pulleys for lifting gear still in place and 3 millstones not in situ; heavy cross beams for first and second levels but floors missing at time of resurvey (1985).
