Description
The former mill, located approximately 180 meters north of Sheinwood Farmhouse, is a disused structure dating from the late 18th century with later alterations. It is built of red brick and features a plain tile roof with a small integral end stack on the right side. The building has three levels and a stepped eaves cornice. There are scattered segmental-headed openings on the ground and first floors, with the position of the former water wheel visible on the left side. Inside, the mill retains pulleys for lifting gear and three millstones that are not in their original positions. Heavy cross beams are present for the first and second levels, but the floors were missing at the time of the last survey in 1985.
