Description

Sheinwood Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse, with later alterations. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tile hipped roof featuring a central well and integral end stacks to the left and behind the ridge to the right. The building is three bays wide. The main front features a dentilled eaves cornice and 16-pane glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads. A central entrance is topped by a pedimented doorcase with a wreathed radial fanlight and a boarded-over six-panel door. The south-west elevation has casements to the first and second floors, some of which are blind and painted to imitate windows, and a central entrance with a boarded-over six-panel door protected by a flat hood supported on stone brackets. The property was formerly known as Sheinwood Manor.
