Description

The Red House is a late 18th-century building located on Station Road in Much Wenlock. It is constructed of red brick and stands three storeys tall. The façade features two Venetian windows on each of the lower storeys and a semi-circular headed window at the center of both the second and third storeys. The entrance is highlighted by a moulded wood pilaster doorcase with an open pediment and a radial fanlight, flanked by plain pilasters. The building has moulded brick eaves, tiled roofing, coped end gables, and brick stacks. The rear of the house mirrors the design of the front.
