Description

The Price Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 9 metres southeast of the chancel of St Mary Church in Llanfair Waterdine. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is constructed from sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a chamfered plinth, wide reeded corner pilasters, sunken panels, and a chamfered top. It commemorates John Price, who died on March 15, 1850, at the age of 64. The memorial showcases high-quality carved lettering with flourishes that are characteristic of the period.
