2/39 Price memorial about 57 metre north-west of west tower of Church of St Mary

GV II

Chest tomb. Margaret Price, died 1832. Ashlar. Bold corner balusters, slightly raised inscription panel, moulded cornice, bevelled top. Inscription: "Sacred to the memory/ of Margaret Wife of/ William Price of/ [ ..... ] in in this Parish/ who Departed this Life/ [ ... ] 27th 1832 aged 72 Years/ [ 4 more lines]" This is a good example of stone masonry and enhances the setting of the church; it contributes to the group value of the other memorials in the churchyard.
