Description
This eyecatcher, located approximately 220 metres south of Lilleshall Hall, was built around 1900. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features an imitation Roman tile roof. The design is neo-classical in style, with a square one-bay structure supported by Corinthian columns. These columns hold up an entablature and free keyed arches, which are adorned with husk festoons in the spandrels. The building also includes moulded imposts and plinths, and inside, there is a saucer dome and a crude mosaic floor. This structure is part of the late Victorian or Edwardian garden improvements at Lilleshall Hall.
