Description

This memorial is a table tomb located 11 metres south of the nave of the Church of St Andrew in Hope Bowdler. It dates from the mid-18th century and is constructed of ashlar. The tomb features a flat incised slab with moulded edges, which is supported by four carved pedestal legs. It commemorates Mary, the wife of William Wolley, who died in 1740.
