Description

This gate pier, located approximately 6 metres southeast of Welsh Lodge, dates from around 1832 and is constructed from red sandstone in the Gothic revival style. It features a square design with trefoil-headed panelled sides and a top that has gables on each face. The original gate has been replaced by a grid. This structure is included for its group value.
