Description
This is an agricultural outbuilding located approximately 10 meters southeast of the White House in Kinnerley. It dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some later alterations. The structure is timber framed, featuring red brick infill and part weatherboarding, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The building is in an L-shape, with framing consisting of square panels, two extending from the cill to the wall-plate, and short straight tension braces. There are doorways at the angle of each range. Inside, the roof has a single-purlin design, with the center truss of the south range supported by raking struts connecting the tie beams to the principal rafters. This outbuilding is included for its group value.
