Signal post. Probably late C19 (as signal box q.v.). Steel or wrought iron. Tubular post with diagonal stay. Supporting on elevated platform with cross-braced substructure and simple handrail. The platform supports two posts each with a ladder and linked by a horizontal brace at the top. One signal arm survives. Included for group value.
