Description

This is a farm building dating from the 18th century, with earlier remains, located approximately 5 metres north of Weston Hall. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and has a pantile roof. The structure is a continuous range that includes a barn on the right. The left-hand section features external steps leading to a first-floor doorway, a ground-floor doorway on the right, and two 20th-century window surrounds on the first floor. The barn has two rows of ventilation slits and a cart entrance with a segmental arch. Inside the barn, there are five queen-post trusses with collars and raking struts. Between the barn and the left-hand building, there is a timber-framed wall from an earlier structure, framed in square panels with brick infill. The left-hand building is narrower and has a lower ridge, featuring a truss with raking struts.
