Description

This building, located at the south-west corner of the farmyard at Bollitree Castle, is a screen wall with lean-to sheds, likely dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and sandstone rubble, featuring some sandstone dressings, and has a slate roof. The building is single storey and has an embattled parapet.

On the west wall, there are two window openings with pointed surrounds that display alternate rustication, each featuring a central flat-faced mullion that branches to create Y-tracery. The north wall contains two doorways, also with pointed surrounds and alternate rustication. A wall connects this building to the barn on the west side of the farmyard, which has a similar door surround. Lean-to sheds are present on the east and south sides of the embattled walls.
