Description
Risbury Court is a farmhouse, likely dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble, partly rendered, with a slate roof featuring overhanging eaves and brick ridge end stacks. The house has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar, with a three-bay layout. The windows have cambered heads and are 16-pane sashes on the outer bays, while the central first-floor window is a 12-pane sash. The central entrance is distinguished by a round-headed archway, a six-panel flush door, and a traceried fanlight. The gable ends incorporate attic windows. The building is included on the list for its group value.
