Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It features a front made of sandstone ashlar and sides of squared rubble, topped with a pantile roof and brick stacks. The building has a central-entrance plan and is one room deep with an outshut. It is two stories high and has a three-window front. The entrance door consists of four sunk panels and is located beneath an overlight. All windows are 12-pane sashes, with painted tripartite keyed lintels above each opening. The ground-floor windows have stone sills, and there is a sill band at the first floor. The eaves cornice is cavetto-moulded, and the gables are coped with shaped kneelers. There are also stacks at each end of the building.
