Description

This is a barn located approximately 30 meters north-east of Bannut Tree Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, with some minor later additions and alterations. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a roof that is partly covered with Welsh slate and partly with corrugated metal. The barn has eight bays arranged in a north-west to south-east direction, with a central entrance for the threshing floor that is obscured from the foldyard by a later lean-to addition. The interior was inaccessible as of summer 1986. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
