Description
The Lippets is a 17th-century building located on Blackhole Lane in Lugwardine. It is known on the Ordnance Survey map as the Folly House. The structure is timber-framed with wattle-and-daub and brick infill, part of which is rendered. It features a sandstone plinth and stacks, topped with a slate roof. The building consists of three framed bays that are aligned north to south, with a south gable entry and a stack, as well as a lateral stack on the west side. It is a single storey with an attic, and the east front has two dormers with 2-light casement windows, along with two similar windows on the ground floor that are irregularly spaced. The framing of the building appears largely complete, with three square panels extending from the sill to the wall plate.
