Farmhouse. Early C18, altered mid-C19. Red brick, sandstone plinth, hipped slate roofs, brick wall. Irregular H-shaped plan with wings extending to south, facing south, central entrance, end stacks. Two storeys, attics and cellars, dentilled eaves cornice, string course; 1:3:1 bays, glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads, outer windows in ends of wings flanking central three bays with pediment, blind roundel in tympanum, outer blocked openings to first floor, central decorative porch, 6-panelled door, an original mash window with thick moulded glazing bars remains intact to the rear, rear pediment also retains illegible fire insurance plaque. Interior contains fine C18 panelled room in south room of west wing. Garden wall extends to north-west of house and adjoins to north forming square garden enclosure withentrance in east wall and to south.
