Description
19 and 19B Broad Street is a house that has been converted into a shop and dwellings, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a Welsh slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and has a single-window range, with an 8/8 sash window under a gauged brick flat arch and a 4/4 sash window above it. The early 20th-century shop front includes a part-glazed panelled door with an overlight on the left, and on the right, there is a window with moulded glazing bars and a half-glazed panelled door with an overlight leading to the upper floors. The shop front is topped with a moulded fascia board supported by stop-consoles. At the rear, there is a wing that has a hipped Welsh slate and composite tile roof, brick modillion eaves, and a 20th-century three-light casement window under a cambered head. The interior has not been inspected.
