Description
This summer house, located approximately 50 meters east of Biddlestone Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared sandstone rubble and features a hipped slate roof. The building is square in plan and has a central entrance, with a casement entrance on the west face and a later lateral stack on the east side. It is a single storey with a basement and has two blocked windows flanking the entrance. The north face includes a central two-light cross casement with intact leaded lights, and there is a ball finial at the apex of the roof. Biddlestone Farmhouse itself is not included in this listing.
