1/205 Barn and attached cider house about 40 yards north-west of Swan House

Barn and cider house. Probably C18. Barn is timber-framed and weatherboarded with a corrugated iron roof. Two bays aligned roughly east/west. Roughly central entry to north side. Cider house is timber-framed clad with weather- boards and corrugated iron with a segmental corrugated iron roof. Entries to north side and east side. Interior of barn has pegged raking struts from tie-beam dividing the two bays; the cider house contains a cider mill near its junction with the barn and a cider press further to the east. The barn and cider house occupy a prominent road-side position opposite Swan House (qv). Included for group value.
